Kamala Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Phuket for a relaxing holiday. It is located on the west coast, just north of Patong and Kalim beaches. Despite this, the holiday here is quite quiet and measured. The length of the Kamala beach line is about 2 km. The entrance to the sea is gentle and at low tide you will have to walk to the depth. The beach itself can be conditionally divided into two parts: southern and northern. In the southern part, fishing boats are parked, so the water here is muddy and not suitable for a beach holiday. But the northern part belongs entirely to vacationers, the water here is more transparent. This area is actually a small village, the main population of which professes Islam. Therefore, many supermarkets in Kamala do not sell alcohol. At the moment, this area is actively built up with condominiums and its infrastructure is developing more and more actively every year.

Infrastructure:
This area has a fairly well-developed infrastructure. On the beach you can rent sun loungers, jet skis, and surfboards. Not far from the shore you can see makashnitsy and beach cafes that offer various street food. Throughout the area you will find shops, cafes and restaurants, massage parlors, currency exchange offices and bank branches, a couple of markets. In the southern part of the area there is a Big C supermarket. Small bars open throughout the area in the evening. Holidays in the summer season:
During the summer season, swimming on this beach is limited due to waves and rip currents. Lifeguards set up flags to demarcate the zones. Red flags indicate that entering the sea is prohibited. Red and yellow flags are placed in the swimming zones – lifeguards are on duty there.
