Kalim Beach
Kalim Beach is not the most popular beach in Phuket. It is located on the west coast, just north of Patong Beach . Often in tourist packages it is offered just under the guise of Patong , but this is a separate beach with its own characteristics. In the evenings, a spontaneous market with makashnitsyas forms on the embankment of Kalim Beach, where locals come to have dinner and watch the sunset. The beach itself is quite rocky and at low tide, entering the sea becomes less comfortable. And in the mornings you can see fishing boats unloading their catch.
Who is it suitable for:
This beach is suitable for active travelers who do not really care about beach holidays. Across the road from the beach there are several hotels of different price categories. Some hotels are located in the mountains and have their own transfer to the nearest beaches.
Infrastructure:
This area has a developed infrastructure - everything you need is within walking distance from the hotels. Patong Beach is within walking distance, so vacationers on Kalima have no problems with entertainment.
Holidays in the summer season:
In the summer season, this beach is absolutely not suitable for a beach holiday. There are no designated swimming areas, and lifeguards are not on duty on the shore.
