Important information 

Overnight stays on the Surin Islands take place within a national park setting, so you should not expect standard hotel comfort. The primary accommodation option for tourists is tents. There are also bungalows on the islands, but they must be booked in advance, as availability is limited.

Tent accommodation is quite basic, and given the hot and humid climate, it may be unusual for those accustomed to hotel stays. If you choose this style of travel, we recommend preparing for camping in nature in advance.

Be sure to bring insect repellent and necessary personal items for a comfortable stay on the islands.

Additional accommodation terms

If desired, you can choose a more comfortable accommodation option for an additional fee:

• Bungalow — 2,000 THB for up to 2 people or 3,000 THB for a bungalow for up to 4 people.
• Portable air conditioner for tent — 2,000 THB per tent, max 2 people.

The number of bungalows is limited, so their availability must be confirmed at the time of booking.

Special tour cancellation terms: Once the tent or bungalow booking is confirmed, changing the date or canceling this tour is not possible; the cancellation fee will be up to 100%, even with a medical certificate. 

Transfer to the Surin Islands for this program is provided by speedboat.

The journey begins with a transfer from your hotel in Khao Lak to the pier, where a light breakfast and an English-language briefing await before departure.

Snorkeling and meeting the Moken village

The first stop is Chong Kad Channel, where snorkeling is conducted directly from the boat.

After that, the program continues with a visit to the Moken village — the Sea Gypsies who traditionally live on the Surin Islands.

The most affordable overnight option on the Surin Islands is tent accommodation. For an extra fee, a portable air conditioner can be installed, though conditions remain quite simple.

Restrooms and showers are shared and located a few meters from the campsite.

A more comfortable option is a bungalow, equipped with a fan and air conditioning. However, do not expect standard hotel comfort: the bungalows are also quite modest. They must be booked in advance as availability is limited.

Beach time and sunset at Krating Bay

After check-in, you can spend time on the beach: go for a swim, walk along the coast, or simply relax surrounded by the nature of the Surin Islands.

In the evening, a walk to Krating Bay is planned, where you can watch the sunset.

After returning, you will have dinner and free time on the islands.

Day two — snorkeling in the bays of Surin Islands

After a Thai-style breakfast, the program continues with a boat trip.

Snorkeling is scheduled for Bon Bay or Mae Yai Bay, where you can swim and explore the underwater world of the archipelago.

After lunch, the group heads to the next stop: Pineapple Bay or Turtle Bay. A snorkeling stop is also planned here.

Day three — additional snorkeling bays

After breakfast on the third day, the group goes snorkeling in Bon Bay or Mae Yai Bay. After lunch, the program continues at Pineapple Bay or Turtle Bay.

Upon completion of the sea program, the return trip from the Surin Islands to the pier begins, where guests will enjoy a light snack before transferring back to their hotel.
