Important information
This format is not suitable for everyone: those accustomed to hotel comfort may find the conditions modest.
It's important to note that this is currently the only overnight accommodation option on the Surin Islands—there are no hotels or other accommodation options on the islands themselves.
Accommodation in tents is very basic and not exactly comfortable, especially given the hot weather. When booking this program, be prepared for this. Be sure to bring insect repellent.
Special terms for tour cancellation: Once a tent or bungalow reservation has been confirmed, it is not possible to reschedule or cancel this tour; the cancellation fee will be 100% even with a medical certificate.
Transfer to the Surin Islands as part of this program is by speedboat. The group is international, and may include tourists from various countries.

The Surin Islands (Mu Ko Surin) are rightfully considered one of the most picturesque and pristine corners of Thailand. This destination is chosen primarily for its superb snorkeling, wildlife, dense tropical jungle, and the opportunity to experience the unique culture of the Chaole (Moken) sea gypsies. The archipelago consists of five islands and is located almost on the border with Myanmar. The main islands are Surin Nuea (North) and Surin Tai (South).
The sea around the Surin Islands is strikingly clear, with visibility reaching 20 meters. While snorkeling, you'll encounter clownfish (Nemo), a variety of tropical fish, and occasionally sea turtles—though less frequently than on the Similan Islands.
The Surin Archipelago is a national park, so there are no hotels or restaurants. The natural environment is preserved as naturally as possible, and accommodations and meals are provided exclusively by the park administration. Accommodations are in tents only (bungalows are scarce and bookings are rare), and the accommodations are quite basic—this trip isn't for everyone. However, for those who dream of experiencing the atmosphere of an uninhabited island, finding themselves practically at the edge of Thailand (beyond the closed islands of Myanmar), and experiencing tropical nature without traces of mass tourism, a two-day excursion to the Surin Islands is an excellent choice.
The Surin Islands are ideal for those who appreciate peace and nature. Here, you can wake up to the sounds of the jungle, take a few steps, and immediately plunge into the turquoise sea. The campsite is located on Surin Tai Island, in picturesque Mai Ngam Bay.
