Children under 3 years old travel free of charge without a separate seat or meals (as infants). Children aged 4 to 8 need a child ticket. Children aged 9 and over need an adult ticket

To book this excursion, please send the manager a photo of the first page of your passport so you can be registered with the national park.

The program is conducted in English and Russian.

Tour itinerary:

07:00 - 08:00 - departure from hotels to the mainland pier;

08:30 — arrival at Namkhem Marina private pier. Check-in and collection of snorkeling equipment. Guests are offered hot drinks and pastries.

09:30 — Departure for the Surin Islands by speedboat. The archipelago is considered one of the best snorkeling spots in the Andaman Sea.

10:20 — Arrival at the Surin Islands National Park. The first snorkeling stop is Chong Kad Bay, followed by a visit to a Moken sea gypsy village on the northern Andaman coast.

12:00 — Lunch at the national park restaurant. Buffet with a variety of drinks and seasonal Thai fruits.

13:00 — The second snorkeling stop is at Bon Bay or Mae Yai Bay.

14:30 — The third snorkeling stop is at Pineapple Bay or Turtle Bay. Time to observe corals and tropical fish.

15:30 — Departure from the Surin Islands.

17:00 — Return to the private pier. Guests are served drinks and light snacks: papaya salad, fried chicken, and ice cream. Afterward, transfer back to the hotel.

 Program times and the order of stops are approximate and may change depending on traffic, weather conditions, and other circumstances.

Contraindications: pregnant women AT ANY STAGE OF PREGNANCY, children under 1 year old, people over 70, people experiencing a flare-up of chronic illnesses, and those with musculoskeletal disorders (back or neck conditions) are not permitted to join the excursion.

Surin Islands Tour from Khao Lak by High-Speed Catamaran

A tour to the Surin Islands from Khao Lak by high-speed catamaran is a great way to spend a day surrounded by tropical nature, clear seas, and colorful coral reefs. The program includes several snorkeling stops, a visit to a Moken sea gypsy village, lunch in the national park, and time to explore the underwater world of the Surin Islands.

In the morning, guests are picked up from their hotels in Khao Lak and taken to Namkhem Marina private pier. Check-in takes place before departure, guests are given snorkeling equipment, and hot drinks and light pastries are served.

The sea journey then begins as the group sets off for the Surin Islands aboard a high-speed catamaran.

The Surin Islands and the First Snorkeling Stop

About an hour and a half after departure, the catamaran arrives at the Surin Islands, which are part of a national marine park.

The first stop is Chong Kad Bay, a scenic cove with clear water that is ideal for snorkeling. Here, you can swim among the corals and watch tropical fish.

After snorkeling, the program continues on land with a visit to a Moken sea gypsy village.

The Moken have traditionally lived in close connection with the sea and the islands off the Andaman coast. Visiting the village offers a glimpse into their way of life and a different side of the Surin Islands beyond their beaches and seascapes.

Thai Lunch on the Islands

After the morning activities, it is time for lunch. Guests can enjoy a buffet of Thai dishes and seasonal fruit at the national park restaurant.

After lunch, you can relax and recharge before continuing the boat trip.

Second Snorkeling Stop — Bon Bay or Mae Yai Bay

The next stop depends on the weather and sea conditions. Snorkeling takes place at Bon Bay or Mae Yai Bay.

The clear water makes it possible to see coral reefs and abundant marine life. This is your second chance that day to snorkel in a different part of the national park.

All necessary equipment is provided before the excursion, so you do not need to bring your own mask and fins.

Pineapple Bay or Turtle Bay

The third snorkeling stop is at Pineapple Bay or Turtle Bay.

Here, you can get back in the water and continue exploring the underwater world of the Surin Islands. Depending on which bay you visit, you may see corals and colorful tropical fish.

Three snorkeling stops at different locations let you do more than spend time at a single reef—you can explore several areas of the national park’s coastal waters.

After the third snorkeling session, the catamaran heads back to the mainland.

Return to Khao Lak

At around 15:30, the group leaves the Surin Islands and heads back by high-speed catamaran.

At around 17:00, guests return to the SeaStar private pier at Namkhem Marina. Before the transfer back to the hotel, guests are served a light evening snack: papaya salad, fried chicken, noodles, and ice cream.

Afterward, transfer is provided back to the hotel in Khao Lak.
