Surin Islands Excursion from Phuket by Speed Catamaran
The Surin Islands excursion from Phuket by speed catamaran is an excellent option for those who want to see one of the most beautiful corners of the Andaman Sea, swim among coral reefs, and get acquainted with the culture of the Moken sea gypsies. The program includes several snorkeling stops, picturesque bays, the Moken village, lunch in the national park, and relaxation amidst the tropical nature of the Surin Islands.
The trip begins in the morning with arrival at the private Namkhem Marina pier. Here, registration takes place, snorkeling equipment is distributed, and hot drinks with light pastries are offered.

After this, the group departs for the Surin Islands by speed catamaran.

Surin Islands and first snorkeling
Approximately an hour and a half after departure, the catamaran arrives at the Surin Islands National Park.
The first snorkeling stop will be Chong Kad Bay. In the clear water, you can see corals and tropical fish, and then the program will continue with an introduction to the traditional Moken sea gypsy village.
The Moken are an indigenous people of the Andaman Sea, whose representatives are traditionally associated with the sea and islands. Visiting the village allows you to see another side of Surin — not only picturesque beaches and the underwater world, but also the local culture.

Lunch on the Surin Islands
After the first part of the program, it's time for lunch.
At the national park restaurant, guests will enjoy a buffet with a variety of dishes and seasonal Thai fruits. After lunch, you can relax a bit before the next stops at sea.

Snorkeling in Bon Bay or Mae Yai Bay
After lunch, the excursion will continue with a second snorkeling stop.
Depending on conditions, the program will take place in Bon Bay or Mae Yai Bay. This is another opportunity to swim in the clear waters of the Surin Islands and observe coral reefs and marine life.

Snorkeling equipment is provided before departure, so you will have everything you need for swimming from the beginning of the excursion.
Pineapple Bay or Turtle Bay
The third snorkeling stop is planned in the area of Pineapple Bay or Turtle Bay.
Here you can once again go into the water and observe corals and colorful fish. Several stops in different bays allow you to see the underwater world of the Surin Islands from different angles and spend more time directly in the sea.

After the third snorkeling session, the group will head back to the pier.
Return to Phuket
Around 15:30, the speed catamaran will depart from the Surin Islands and head back to the mainland.
Around 17:00, the group will arrive back at the pier. Before returning to the hotel, guests will enjoy drinks and a light dinner — papaya salad, fried chicken, noodles, and ice cream.

After this, a return transfer to your hotel in Phuket will be arranged.
Who is the Surin Islands excursion suitable for?
The excursion is suitable for those who want to combine a sea trip on a speed catamaran, snorkeling, relaxation on the islands, and an introduction to the culture of one of Thailand's peoples. In one day, you can visit several picturesque bays of the national park, snorkel three times, see the Moken sea gypsy village, and have lunch on the islands.
The trip will be especially enjoyable for those interested in the underwater world.
If you are vacationing in Phuket and want to spend a day amidst tropical nature, clear sea, and coral reefs, an excursion to the Surin Islands by speed catamaran will be an excellent option.
