Tour program

04:30–05:30 — departure from Khao Lak hotels to Thap Lamu Pier

05:30–06:00 — arrival at Thap Lamu Pier, light breakfast, meeting the guide and safety briefing

06:00–07:15 — departure from the pier to the Similan Islands (approximate travel time: 1 hour 20 minutes)

Arrival at Island No. 4 (Miang). Beach time at Honeymoon Bay. Before going ashore, you will be offered a choice: snorkeling enthusiasts may stay on the boat and enjoy snorkeling, while others can go ashore to extend their time on the island. After snorkeling, the group will also return to this island. Total time on the island is approximately 2 hours.
Lunch on Island No. 4 in buffet style.

Snorkeling near Island No. 9 (Bangu). In Coral Bay you can see colorful fish, coral reefs, and there is a chance to encounter large sea turtles (approximately 40 minutes).

Arrival at Island No. 8 (Similan). Beach time and a walk to the famous Sail Rock (approximately 1.5 hours).

13:00–14:15 — departure back to Thap Lamu Pier

Arrival at Thap Lamu Pier, snack (grilled skewers, rice with vegetables, drinks, coconut ice cream)

Transfer back to Khao Lak hotels

Program times and the order of stops are approximate and may change depending on traffic, weather conditions, and other circumstances.

The departure time of the early program is scheduled only when sunrise visibility is good. The exact sunrise time depends on the season and weather conditions.

Contraindications

The tour is not recommended for pregnant women, children under 1 year old, people experiencing an acute phase of chronic illnesses, or those with musculoskeletal disorders.

On the Similan Islands, wearing footwear is prohibited. All shoes must be left in storage before departure. For your comfort, we recommend bringing coral shoes (they can also be purchased at the pier). Walking barefoot on the islands is also allowed.

The rules for rescheduling tours, as well as cancellations and refunds are written on each ticket. They are set by the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Below is a detailed transcript.

Changes to bookings are possible ONLY during business hours (from 9.00 to 20.00)
The excursion can be rescheduled to another date no less than 24 hours before the start of the program (only if there are places available on the desired date)
The transfer of the excursion is free of charge and only once
Cancellation of the excursion at the request of the tourist is possible at least 24 hours before the start of the program. If the excursion is canceled at the request of the tourist, the travel agency withholds 30% of the tour cost
If a tourist cancels an excursion less than 24 hours before departure, the payment will not be refunded.
If you do not go on an excursion (no show), payment is not refundable
If you have a certificate from the HOSPITAL*, the excursion can be canceled at least 24 hours before departure with a 100% refund. Refunds are made only to the tourist indicated in the certificate. If the certificate is issued for a child/children, then 70% of the tour cost is returned to one parent. There is no refund for the second parent, as well as other tourists on this ticket. They can go on excursion as per booking
In case of cancellation of the excursion at the request of the tourist during its implementation, payment will not be refunded
In case of cancellation of the excursion due to the fault of the carrier or storm warning (sea tours only), it is possible to reschedule the excursion date or a full refund
Rain is not an obstacle to the excursion and the tour cannot be canceled due to precipitation. If a tourist refuses to go on an excursion due to rain, this is regarded as a voluntary refusal of the service and no refund will be made.

*Only certificates from a Thai hospital are accepted for consideration. Certificates from private clinics, pharmacies, and certificates from online doctors are not accepted. The illness certificate must contain the first and last name of the sick person, information about the presence of the disease on the date of the excursion, and the hospital stamp. All certificates are checked for authenticity to avoid document falsification. If the fact of forgery of documents is detected, no refund will be made, and the company also has the right to contact the police.
