Tour program:

6:30–7:30 — Departure from Khao Lak hotels to Taplamu Pier

8:00 — Arrival at Taplamu Pier, mini-breakfast, meeting the guide and safety briefing

09:00 — Departure from the pier to the Similan Islands archipelago (approximate travel time 1 hour 20 minutes)

• Arrival at island number 8, "Similan". Beach time and a walk to the famous Sailing Rock (approx. 1 hour)
• Snorkeling near island number 9, "Bangnu", in Coral Bay; you can see colorful fish, corals, and there is a chance to encounter large turtles (approx. 40 minutes)
• Snorkeling near island number 7, "Payu" (approx. 40 minutes)
• Arrival at island number 4, "Miang", beach time in Honeymoon Bay. Total time on the island is approximately 2 hours.
• Lunch on island number 4 - buffet style.

The program time and the sequence of stops are approximate and may change depending on traffic, weather conditions, and other circumstances.

Contraindications: Pregnant women AT ANY STAGE, children under 1 year old, and persons with acute chronic illnesses or musculoskeletal disorders are prohibited from participating in this excursion.

Similan Islands Excursion from Khao Lak by Catamaran

The Similan Islands excursion from Khao Lak is an action-packed sea trip on a comfortable catamaran. In one day, you will visit several islands of the archipelago, see the famous Sailing Rock, go snorkeling, and relax on snow-white beaches.

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Khao Lak and taken to Taplamu Pier. Before departure, a light breakfast, introduction to the guide, and safety briefing are provided. After that, the catamaran will set off towards the Similan Islands. The crossing takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

The main advantage of the trip is that it takes place on a spacious and comfortable catamaran. The cabin is equipped with comfortable seats, so you can spend the sea crossing in comfort.

Island No. 8 and Sailing Rock

The first stop will be Island No. 8, Similan. Time is allocated here for beach relaxation and a walk to the famous Sailing Rock.

From the observation deck, you can admire the panorama of the island, the white sand, and the bright turquoise sea. Huge granite boulders and clear water are one of the main features of the Similan archipelago.

Snorkeling at Islands No. 9 and No. 7

After the walk, the catamaran will head to Island No. 9, Bangnu. Snorkeling takes place near Coral Bay — here you can see corals and a multitude of colorful tropical fish. With a bit of luck, you may encounter sea turtles while swimming.

About 40 minutes is allotted for snorkeling, after which the catamaran will continue the route to Island No. 7, Payu. A stop of approximately 40 minutes is also provided here for snorkeling.

Island No. 4, Miang

The next stop is Island No. 4, Miang, where tourists will spend about two hours.

This time can be devoted to swimming, walking, and relaxing on the beach in the picturesque Honeymoon Bay.

Lunch is also provided on the island in a buffet format. After eating, you can continue relaxing by the sea and enjoying the island's nature.

Return to Khao Lak

Around 15:00–15:15, the catamaran will head back to Taplamu Pier. Upon arrival, guests will enjoy a small snack: meat skewers, rice with vegetables, drinks, and coconut ice cream.

Then, an organized transfer will take tourists back to their hotels in Khao Lak.
