Tour program:

6:30-7:30 — departure from Phuket hotels to Thaplamu Pier

8:00 — arrival at Thaplamu Pier, light breakfast, meeting the guide, and safety briefing

09:00 — departure from the pier to the Similan Islands archipelago (estimated travel time 1 hour 20 minutes)

• arrival at island number 8, "Similan." Beach time and a walk to the famous Sailing Rock (approximately 1 hour)
• snorkeling near island number 9, "Bangu," in Coral Bay, where you can see colorful fish and corals, and there is a chance to encounter large sea turtles (approximately 40 minutes)
• snorkeling near island number 7, "Payu" (approximately 40 minutes)
• arrival at island number 4, "Miang," beach time in Honeymoon Bay. Total time on the island is approximately 2 hours.
• Lunch on island number 4 - buffet style.

The program timing and order of stops are approximate and may change depending on traffic, weather conditions, and other circumstances.

Contraindications: Pregnant women at ANY STAGE, children under 1 year old, and persons with acute chronic diseases or musculoskeletal disorders are prohibited from taking this excursion.

It is forbidden to wear shoes on the Similan Islands, so all footwear must be stored before departure. For your comfort, we recommend bringing water shoes (they can also be purchased at the pier). You may also walk barefoot on the islands. Photos of passports (the page with the photo) are required to book this excursion.

Excursion to the Similan Islands from Phuket by catamaran

An excursion to the Similan Islands from Phuket is an excellent choice for those who want to spend a day among white-sand beaches, granite rocks, and clear sea. The program includes several islands of the archipelago, snorkeling, beach relaxation, a visit to the famous Sailing Rock, and lunch.

The main difference of this option is that the trip takes place on a comfortable catamaran. It is convenient to spend time on board during the sea crossing, and the spacious salon and equipped passenger seats make a long trip more comfortable.

In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Phuket and taken to Thaplamu Pier. Before departure, a light breakfast, introduction to the guide, and safety briefing are provided. Then, the catamaran will depart for the Similan Islands — the crossing takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Island No. 8 and Sailing Rock

The first stop will be Island No. 8 (Similan). Here there will be time for a walk and relaxation on the beach, as well as a climb to the famous Sailing Rock.

The observation deck offers a view of the turquoise sea, white sand, and the characteristic granite boulders of the Similan archipelago.

Snorkeling at Islands No. 9 and No. 7

After Island No. 8, the catamaran will head to Island No. 9, Bangu. Snorkeling takes place in the Coral Bay area — here you can see tropical fish and corals, and if you are lucky, encounter large sea turtles.

About 40 minutes are allotted for the stop. Then the route continues at Island No. 7, Payu, where another 40 minutes are provided for snorkeling.

Thanks to several stops, you can explore different parts of the underwater world of the Similan Islands.

Island No. 4 and Honeymoon Bay

The island part of the route concludes at Island No. 4, Miang. About two hours are allotted for relaxation here.

You can swim, walk around the island, and spend time on the beach in the picturesque Honeymoon Bay.

Lunch is served here in a buffet format. After an active program, you can have a relaxed meal and rest before the return journey.

Return to Phuket

Around 15:00–15:15, the catamaran will depart back to Thaplamu Pier. Upon arrival, guests will be treated to a small snack — skewers, rice with vegetables, drinks, and coconut ice cream.

Then an organized transfer will take you back to your hotel in Phuket.
