Description

Children under 3 years old travel free without a separate seat or meal (like infants). Children 4 to 8 years old require a child ticket. Children 9 years and older require an adult ticket.

Departures from the pier in Khao Lak. This program is conducted on a high-speed catamaran (photos of the catamaran can be seen in the gallery below).

The program is conducted in English and Russian (if there are at least four Russian-speaking tourists). Please contact the manager before booking a specific date to confirm the availability of a Russian-speaking guide.

Schedule of events

Tour program:

7.00-8.00 — departure from Khao Lak hotels to the pier

9.00-9.30 — arrival at the pier in Khao Lak, mini-breakfast, meeting the guide, instructions

10:00-10:15 — departure from the pier to the islands of the Similan archipelago (approximate travel time 1 hour 20 minutes)

Arrival at island number 8 (Similan Island/Sail Rock), visit to the observation point on the rock, relax on the beach and swim in crystal clear water

Arrival at island number 4 (Miang Island), beach relaxation and lunch

Departure/arrival times and stop sequences are approximate. The itinerary is subject to change without prior notice due to traffic, weather conditions, and other circumstances for safety reasons.

Contraindications: pregnant women at any stage , children under 1 year old, persons over 70 years old, persons during periods of exacerbation of chronic diseases and with diseases of the musculoskeletal system (diseases of the spine, neck) are prohibited from attending the excursion.

Shoes are prohibited on the Similan Islands, so all footwear must be stored before departure. For your comfort, we recommend bringing coral slippers (they can also be purchased at the pier). Barefoot travel is also permitted on the islands. To book this excursion, please send a photo of the first page of your passport to the manager for registration at the national park.

The rules for rescheduling tours, as well as cancellations and refunds are written on each ticket. They are set by the Tourism Authority of Thailand. Below is a detailed transcript.

Changes to bookings are possible ONLY during business hours (from 9.00 to 20.00)
The excursion can be rescheduled to another date no less than 24 hours before the start of the program (only if there are places available on the desired date)
The transfer of the excursion is free of charge and only once
Cancellation of the excursion at the request of the tourist is possible at least 24 hours before the start of the program. If the excursion is canceled at the request of the tourist, the travel agency withholds 30% of the tour cost
If a tourist cancels an excursion less than 24 hours before departure, the payment will not be refunded.
If you do not go on an excursion (no show), payment is not refundable
If you have a certificate from the HOSPITAL*, the excursion can be canceled at least 24 hours before departure with a 100% refund. Refunds are made only to the tourist indicated in the certificate. If the certificate is issued for a child/children, then 70% of the tour cost is returned to one parent. There is no refund for the second parent, as well as other tourists on this ticket. They can go on excursion as per booking
In case of cancellation of the excursion at the request of the tourist during its implementation, payment will not be refunded
In case of cancellation of the excursion due to the fault of the carrier or storm warning (sea tours only), it is possible to reschedule the excursion date or a full refund
Rain is not an obstacle to the excursion and the tour cannot be canceled due to precipitation. If a tourist refuses to go on an excursion due to rain, this is regarded as a voluntary refusal of the service and no refund will be made.

*Only certificates from a Thai hospital are accepted for consideration. Certificates from private clinics, pharmacies, and certificates from online doctors are not accepted. The illness certificate must contain the first and last name of the sick person, information about the presence of the disease on the date of the excursion, and the hospital stamp. All certificates are checked for authenticity to avoid document falsification. If the fact of forgery of documents is detected, no refund will be made, and the company also has the right to contact the police.
