Excursion to James Bond, Krabi, and Phi Phi Islands from Khao Lak
The excursion to James Bond, Krabi, and Phi Phi Islands is a rich two-day program for those who want to see the main natural attractions of the Andaman Sea in one trip. The journey begins with a transfer from your hotel in Khao Lak to the pier in Phuket, where the sea portion of the route starts. Over two days, you will visit Phang Nga Bay, see the famous James Bond Island, canoe through mangrove forests, visit the Panyee sea gypsy village, head to the Railay Peninsula and Krabi islands, and spend the night on Phi Phi Don.
This program is also known under the names "Royal Islands," "Star Islands," "Emerald Islands," "4 Pearls of the Andaman Sea," "11 Islands," "12 Islands," and others. There are many similar two-day routes in the region; however, this program places special emphasis on the quality of service, comfort, and travel organization. For guests from Khao Lak, a transfer to the pier is provided (*please check with your manager regarding group transfer availability) in Phuket, and the sea part of the excursion takes place on speedboats or catamarans that regularly undergo technical inspection and maintenance. Company employees undergo medical examinations and necessary training.
Special attention is paid to accommodation and meals. The overnight stay is at a hotel on Phi Phi Don, located on a hill with observation decks and a mini-aqua park. A shuttle is provided for guests to the village and the beach. The program includes varied meals, and the route is accompanied by experienced guides. Thanks to this, the intense trip across several provinces and islands remains comfortable even with a large number of impressions.
Transfer from Khao Lak and departure from Phuket
For guests staying in Khao Lak, the trip starts with a transfer from the hotel. The sea portion of the tour takes place from a pier in Phuket, so tourists do not need to figure out how to get to the departure point on their own.
Depending on the specific tour date's conditions, a free group transfer from Khao Lak hotels may be available. You must clarify the possibility of this service with your manager before booking, as it depends on the hotel's location and the organization of transfers on a specific day.

Upon arrival at the pier, guests can calmly enjoy tea or coffee, have a snack, and meet the guide, who will describe the upcoming route.

The sea part of the trip takes place on a speedboat or catamaran. The type of vessel is determined by the carrier depending on the number of group participants. All vessels used undergo regular maintenance, and the crew pays close attention to passenger safety and comfort.

Phang Nga Province: Panak Island and natural caves
The first day begins with a journey toward Phang Nga Province. One of the first stops is Panak Island, known for its unusual limestone formations and natural caves.
Here you can see karst cliffs, stalactites, and other natural shapes formed by water and time. Crab-eating macaques are also sometimes encountered in the vicinity of the island.

James Bond Island
The next stop is the famous James Bond Island, one of the most recognizable symbols of Phang Nga Bay.
The unusual limestone cliff rising above the sea became world-famous after the filming of "The Man with the Golden Gun." Today, the island is one of the most popular attractions in Southern Thailand.
During the stop, you can walk around the area, examine the whimsical limestone formations, and take photos against the backdrop of the famous landscape.

Canoeing among caves and mangrove forests
After James Bond Island, the route continues to Talu Island, where guests will enjoy a relaxing canoe ride.
The route passes through mangrove forests, limestone cliffs, and small waterways. At the right water level, the canoe can enter the inner parts of the island and natural caves.
Such a trip allows you to see Phang Nga Bay from a completely different perspective. Instead of the speed of the boat, there is calm movement through the water, green mangrove forests, sheer cliffs, and narrow passages between the islands.

Panyee sea gypsy village
One of the most unusual stops on the first day is the Panyee sea gypsy village. The settlement is located right on the water at the foot of limestone cliffs, and the houses and other buildings are connected by small walkways.
During the walk, you can see the school, mosque, shops, and learn about the daily life of the local community. It is not just a natural attraction, but an opportunity to learn more about the traditional lifestyle of the inhabitants of Southern Thailand.

Lunch is provided here at a local restaurant with a view of the mangrove forests.

Krabi: Railay Peninsula and limestone cliffs
After Phang Nga, the route continues toward Krabi Province. Along the way, you can see the residence of King Rama IX from the water, after which the boat will head to the famous Railay Peninsula.
Railay is known for its sheer limestone cliffs, tropical nature, and picturesque beaches. During the stop, you can see one of the main natural attractions of the peninsula — Phra Nang Cave, also called the Fertility Cave.
Further, the route passes by Chicken Island. Its unusual limestone cliff resembles a chicken's head, which is how the island got its name.
Snorkeling and arrival at Phi Phi Don
After a full first day, the boat heads to the Phi Phi Islands. Before arriving at Phi Phi Don, there is a stop for snorkeling.
The crystal-clear water of the Andaman Sea allows you to see tropical fish and coral reefs. The guide and team assist participants while swimming, so even those with little experience can try snorkeling.

After snorkeling, the group arrives at Phi Phi Don, where they will spend the night.

Overnight stay on Phi Phi Don
For accommodation, we have chosen Phi Phi Mountain Beach Resort — a hotel located on a hill next to the Phi Phi viewpoint. Thanks to its location, beautiful panoramic views of the island and the Andaman Sea open up from here.
After check-in, you have free time. You can relax at the hotel, use the shuttle service to the beach, or go to the Phi Phi Don viewpoint to see the island from above and watch the sunset.
For the convenience of guests, the hotel provides a shuttle to help you get to the beach and the village. The premises also feature a swimming pool and a small aqua park, where you can relax after a busy day.

The hotel has a swimming pool and a small aqua park, so you can spend time here with the whole family. This is especially convenient after a busy first day of travel.
Dinner with a view of Phi Phi and evening island life
In the evening, guests will enjoy dinner at the hotel restaurant with a view of Phi Phi Don and the surrounding islands. After dinner, you can head to the center of the island and experience its evening atmosphere.
Phi Phi Don is known for its active nightlife. Here you can watch a fire show on the beach, visit bars, or just walk along the bustling streets of the island.
The ability to spend the night on Phi Phi is one of the features of the program. Instead of a short stop during the day, you get the opportunity to see the island at different times of the day, watch the sunset, and feel its atmosphere after dark.
Maya Bay — filming location of "The Beach"
The second day starts with breakfast at the hotel.

One of the main points of the route is the famous Maya Bay, where the movie "The Beach" with Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed. White sand, turquoise water, and sheer limestone cliffs have made this place one of the most recognizable natural attractions in Thailand.
Maya Bay access rules may change depending on the season and environmental restrictions. From August 1 to October 1, 2026, beach access is prohibited, so during this period, the bay is viewed from the boat under suitable weather and sea conditions.

Pileh Lagoon
After Maya Bay, the route continues to Pileh Lagoon — one of the most picturesque bays of Phi Phi Ley.
The lagoon is surrounded by high limestone cliffs, and the water here takes on a rich emerald shade. Depending on conditions, you can swim, jump off the boat into the water, and take photos against the background of impressive landscapes.
At a suitable tide level, the boat can enter directly into the lagoon. Optionally, you can rent a traditional long-tail boat and take a short ride around Pileh.

Viking Cave and Monkey Beach
Next, the boat sails along Phi Phi Ley to the famous Viking Cave. The guide will tell you about the history of this place, its natural features, and the traditional collection of bird nests.
The next stop is Monkey Beach on Phi Phi Don. From the water, you can see the macaques that inhabit this part of the island and photograph the picturesque combination of a tropical beach, jungle, and limestone cliffs.
Lunch on Phi Phi Don
After snorkeling, guests will have lunch at a restaurant on the shore of Phi Phi Don. After an active first half of the day, this is a place where you can enjoy a meal and relax a bit before continuing your journey.
The restaurant is chosen based on tide levels. The program includes two restaurant options located by the sea. This helps minimize walking and makes lunch as convenient as possible for guests.

Bamboo Island — the end of the journey
The last major stop is Bamboo Island — a small tropical island with snow-white sand and clear turquoise water.
Here you can swim, relax on the beach, and take a walk around the island. Bamboo is surrounded by the sea on almost all sides, and its tropical landscapes are perfect for photos.
During your walk, you may occasionally encounter wild monitor lizards that inhabit the island. However, encounters cannot be guaranteed as they are wild animals.

After relaxing on Bamboo Island, the journey back begins. The sea portion of the trip concludes in Phuket, after which guests are taken back to Khao Lak via organized transfer.
