Nai Yang Beach
Nai Yang Beach is one of the most picturesque beaches in Phuket. It is located on the west coast, in the north of the island. There is a gentle entrance to the sea, so this place is popular among vacationers with children. The infrastructure near the beach is practically not developed - there are restaurants, massage parlors and small shops, sometimes makashnitsy come. But for large supermarkets and shopping and entertainment centers, you will have to go to the center of the island. In the north of the beach is the Sirinat National Park, where you can enjoy the natural beauty and be in silence. Nightlife on Nai Yang is completely absent and with the onset of darkness only beach cafes and restaurants work. The length of Nai Yang Beach is about 3 kilometers. Ebb and flow are very noticeable in the northern and southern parts. During low tide, you can walk along the beach line to Mai Khao Beach, where planes land and take off. Nai Yang has a sufficient selection of hotels, there are condominiums and villas a few minutes' drive from the beach. This area is currently being built up and developed.
Who is it suitable for:
With its natural beauty and atmosphere, it is suitable for a quiet beach holiday. Nai Yang Beach is not suitable for those planning an active holiday.
Infrastructure:
On the beach itself, you can rent sun loungers with umbrellas. You can find several cafes right on the beach line. There are no large shopping centers within walking distance. At the exit from the beach, towards the airport, there is a 24-hour supermarket 7/11. Along the beach and in the national park (entry may be paid) there is a small parking lot. Near the Wat Nai Yang temple, there is a local market three times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The market schedule may change. There you can buy clothes, ready-made food and fruit. In the center of the beach are the Nai Yang beach resort and Dewa Resort hotels, popular among Russian-speaking vacationers. We recommend reading reviews of hotels in this area, as they have not been renovated for a long time.
Holidays in the summer season:
From May to mid-October, beach holidays on Nai Yang Beach are difficult due to large waves and rip currents. On stormy days, lifeguards put up red flags on the shore, which means that swimming is strictly prohibited. On windless days, there are no waves even in summer, so this beach can be considered for a summer holiday.
